In issue #1, TIS brings you 15 Malaysia in the film-screening column.15malaysia proudly presents 15 socio-politically themed short films. Launched on the 17th of August, 15malaysia is produced by our local talented musican/actor/film director Pete teo and the team that brought you MAFU (Malaysian Artistes For Unity) last year.
15malaysia features some of the country's coolest directors and personalitites like the late Yasmin Ahamd, James Lee, Benji Lim & Bahir Yeusuff, Desmond Ng to name a few. These films are not only dealing with the socio-political issues in Malaysia, they also feature some of the best-known faces in the country, including actors, musicians and top political leaders such as Khairy Jamaluddin, Nik Aziz, Liow Tiong Lai, Adibah Noor, Ida Nerina, Sharifah Armani, Patrick Teo, Harith Iskandar and many more.To watch the films of 15malaysia, you could find them on Facebook by the name of '15malaysia' or you could log onto their official website at http://15malaysia.com/.
