Systematically Avoided Disaster (S.A.D.)

In issue #2, TIS brings you S.A.D. in the music-gig column.

The band's name may read as though it’s taken from a text book, but the band makes and plays music like no other. Categorizing themselves in a mix genre of modern rock and new metal, Adam the vocalist and bassist says that it’s pretty hard to explain and that their stuff are crunchy sounding yet mellow, but overall Adam says that they’re generally noisy and heavy sounding.
S.A.D., formed in the late 2007, all band mates are mutual friends. Having to play together here and there with various other bands before they started together as a band. But they basically met at a common ground, through music. So they decided to just start fresh, and started writing music.

Having them launch their EP on the 1st September at Urbanattic, their EP sees 6 tracks and it’s only going for RM10. The initial plan the band had for their EP is to record something live, compile it then distributing if for free. But they decided to do a proper recording, yet selling it at an affordable price.
For those who want to know more about them, you could do so by adding them, reading them out on the sites below;
