TIS were lucky enough to be invited and witness this one of a kind band's EP launch. Introducing Robot Asmara, as cheesy as the band's name sound, it fits ideally to the kind of music they portray. Having many influences all in one, they have a unique blend of rock, blues, j-pop, electro and so much more that we can't even describe. Having their EP Launched with five song in it, it has a diversified mixture of music and it is fantastically recorded. Having six members in the band, two guitarist, a bassist (who knows how to rock awesome on stage), a keyboardist (who apparently is an awesome drummer for Taiping), a drummer (ala Travis Baker) and a vocalist, this female fronted band has broke the ground barrier of sound implentation of digital effects and synths live on stage. Awesome-licious!!
Having launched at Taman Budaya Kuala Lumpur, the atmosphere was awesome, having their friend-bands opening for them, bands like Auburn, Pesawat, Joanne and Co, though Komplot didn't make it to perform, some of their band members turned up to show their support. Their EP was sold at RM15, and I'm telling ya, it's one hell of a worth price to pay for their music production quality. Rock on!!
